A New Interface for Safer Alternative Products and Articles
For the last few years now Safer Alternative has promoted the use of less toxic products in our everyday lives. We used to post regularly at http://www.toxictimebomb.blogspot.com until we got too busy developing both “Go Natural and Organic“, a kind of online ‘natural health magazine’ website, and our major skin and body products portal accessible via www.saferalternative.com.
But it seemed useful to pull these disparate efforts together in one place here under this umbrella site www.SaferAlternative.org - so here it is.
This is just an introductory post whilst we work on adding some content and the links through to the other sites.
We happen to believe that it is every individuals responsibility to look after their own God-given health and not to abdicate this task and then blame ‘the system’ when things go wrong. We are living in strange times, a period when we have seen what are supposedly amazing scientific advances in medicine that should have made us more able to look after our health than ever before in the history of Mankind. Yet in many respects the reverse is occurring. And even a cursory examination of the situation leads us to conclude that it doesn’t take any degree of genius to work out why!
- In a nutshell…how could any species evolve on a planet such as ours, for half-a-million years or more, only to come to a point where it belives that its futher development and survival to depends on the use of non-natural, man-made, questionable medicinal interventions?
Plainly - ridiculous and illogical.
- On top of this…how can a species, no matter how intellectually advanced (beyond any other that shares the same Earth) have come to a point where it thinks it can perpetually, continuously, day-in-day-out assault its own biological system, and the planet’s whole natural system, with an increasing arrray of synthetic chemical concoctions and not end up paying the price?!
Well - are paying the price.
- In terms of our decaying and deteriorating health.
- In terms of increasing ecological damage and impending environmental disaster.
So - surely the only thing that we can do now is step back and choose to take a less toxic route. We need to choose to live less-toxic, healthier lifetyles and choose to replace our vast array of chemically dubious daily-use products with safer aternative products!
We can only do our own small part to provide access to some of the best of these safer alternative products currently starting to be made available by ethically inspired enterprises around the world.
